The UK's largest charity for deaf people and a design magazine are launching an exhibition of futuristic hearing aids to make them more popular.

The show, called Hearwear, opens at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London this week.

A variety of designs will be on display, ranging from stylish devices to enhance hearing to products that can be used by anyone to control sound.

The idea is to persuade people that hearwear can be as appealing as specs.

Do you agree with that? Do you find your hearing aids okay or too boring?

Most people I know, who is deaf or HOH are too embarrassed to wear hearing aids as it is not modern and not class as ok to wear like hearing aids.

But wearing glasses is the same as using hearing aids and is something people shouldn't be embarrassed about, in my view.

But for the hearing aid mentioned above, I'm not sure if it is aimed for all range of deafness or mainly for HOH?

I bought two of these trendy (but expensive) Lotos aids from Eurion

They were quite good and aparently waterproof, but both died within 12 months. I got my money refunded and went back to NHS aids - not very colourful, but they're free and they work...
